Zvi is an inspiring teacher of texts. He combines an intimate fluency with traditional Jewish wisdom with an extraordinary ability to see clearly how ancient wisdom speaks in the idiom of today.

I was in Zvi's Telemidrash class this spring and it was an incredible experience. I was nervous that as a Jewish text novice, I wouldn't be able to keep up with those in our group who had gone to Jewish Day School. But Zvi was able to ensure that everyone found meaning in and had access to the text. I looked forward to our group talks not only because it greatly expanded my Jewish knowledge but also because Zvi created a safe space for us all to learn. It takes a kind heart and a keen mind to create a safe learning community among people on so many different levels of Jewish fluency. Zvi made me have more confidence as a Jewish learner--I look forward to more opportunities like this!

it's a great class! Very warm and inviting, and I learned a lot. I finished each session with a huge smile on my face, and often by jumping excitedly around my kitchen!

Do Israelis really pay out their had earned sheckels to view this type of homosexual propagandistic "meluchlacha"? All the Israeli films that I see on the Sundance Film Channel make the country look like a depraved cesspool. None of the main characters are remotely likeable or believable. None of them has any personal dignity or attractive qualities. The Israeli main character didn't even have the common courtesy to use a little "shemen" when he was sodomizing the Palestinian character. Oh, the inhumanity! The female lead role was a vile creature the type of which makes me thank god for shiksas. The Israeli film-industry is trying so hard to look "sophisticated" and "realistic" and all they are really accomplishing is pulling down their "michnasayim" and showing off the "charah" stains on their "gatkes."
