Empowered Communication

An 18-Hour Level II Course in Nonviolent Communication(sm)

Speak with authenticity, honesty, empowerment, and choice!

Have you completed Brooklyn NVC’s Foundations I course OR 20-40 hours of NVC training?

If so, join us for EMPOWERED COMMUNICATION, a Foundations II (Intermediate) training in NVC.

Do you want:

·  Greater fluency in using NVC everyday?

·  Ability to respond to the most challenging situations?

·  Ease in using colloquial NVC (“street giraffe”)?

If so, in this course, you will learn to:

·  Enjoy greater ease and flow in empathy guessing

·  Practice “giraffe honesty” vs. “jackal honesty” (“screaming in giraffe”)

·  Hear the “Yes” behind the “No” (hearing and saying “no” with honesty, ease, and connection)

·  Draw on self-empathy (in response to both external & internal stimuli)

·  Make use of interruption & pacing skills in charged situations

·  Hear and express anger (matching your level of response to level of intensity)

This class is for anyone who wants to:

·  Deepen the fluency and ease of their NVC practice

·  Take a “hands-on,” kinesthetic approach to learning NVC

·  Further self-awareness, connection, empowerment and choice!
